Science, nature, journalism and photography. Generally the latter two apply to the former two.

Hi Allie, thanks for the nice post and links to great videos. I guess the more we get to love nature, the more we would become more responsible people with regard to preserving it. It is perhaps a lack of awareness and a detachment from nature that has originally led us to damage our environment in the first place. This series would surely help us get closer to nature.

Lovely post!

Hmm I'm going to have to watch again and keep my eyes peeled on the tackle. It's been awhile since I've been fishing and I completely missed that. Good eye!

The premier of vampire fish was a major disappointment.......in the first sequence the angler hooked a large Goliath Tiger fish....showed him fighting the fish.......however, there were three different pieces of tackle shown(two spinning and one conventional), while fighting this one fish.....and he turned the large conventional reel upside down and cranked it left handed, same as the two spinning setups..........this takes re-enactment and regard for audience awareness to a new low......don't think I'll tune in next week.......
